Granite Valley Stone Ltd. (GVS) is a family-owned and operated business located in the Comox Valley, slightly north of Courtenay. This location allows us to easily service the needs of the Comox Valley & Campbell River.
For over 16 years, GVS has been providing clients manufactured and installed products made locally. We strive to exceed the exacting specifications of architects, designers, builders and of course homeowners. We believe in supporting the community we call home. Where many of our competitors on Vancouver Island have no production or manufacturing capability, and therefore send all production to greater Vancouver or Washington State, we cut, profile and polish our product right here in the Comox Valley.
Our People
One of our many strengths is the skill and expertise of our tradesmen who live and work right here in the Comox Valley. We utilize modern saws, grinding and polishing equipment to achieve extraordinary quality.
We source stone from quarries across Canada and beyond. GVS purchased state of the art stone working machinery from the U.S., Italy and Japan to deliver the highest quality products possible.
Our Mission
Our mission is to manufacture and install the best quality granite or marble products at a reasonable price. If you're shopping for the lowest price, we might not be the right fit for you! False economy—as you get what you pay for. Having said that though, be assured, we are not the most expensive option either.
